Cuarenta

Lordy, lordy, Huck is 40. Today.

Tax day, the day Lincoln was shot, and the day the Titanic sunk.

An auspicious day, indeed.

Now, I need to go find my mid-life crisis.

At least you look pretty good for 40.

Happy B-day, Huck.

Huck was born on tax day. This must mean something. I've been working through my mid-life crisis since I was about 10. It could still end badly.

They say 40 is the new.... something... eh whatever. Happy Birthday.

Thank you all for your kind birthday wishes! It has been a good day so far. No mid-life crisis yet! I'm thinking if I can make it through the next couple of hours, I'll be beyond the worst of it. Peace.

It only seems fair you should get a rebate from Uncle Sam for this incredible affront to the decency of birthdays. Belatedly, happy birthday!
