Eric, I thought you, in particular, would like this. In fact, I bet you probably have some lovely moments like this one yourself!
The only song my daughter will sing aloud with me is in Spanish, 'Mi Caballo Blanco', a Chilean folk song. On everything else, she'll play the tamborine while I strum and sing, but she won't join in... it's kind of a game we play, me trying to get her to sing and her refusing.
Although, little girls playing the tamborine is pretty damn cute.
